7 Create an ADV for the panel, by clicking the

Add button in the ADV section (upper right

corner) of the configuration window.

8 On returning to the Panel Configuration - Basic

window [after creating the ADV], click the Next

button to advance to the Panel Configuration -

Card Format window (next illustration).

Panel Configuration – Card Format

Select either ABA or Wiegand as the card type.

These default values will rarely need to be changed.

If in doubt, accept the Wiegand default, as this is the

most common application.
